Jérôme Foyer, a sailing expert, and Emmanuel Tessier, Head-chef at the Cuisine Corsaire Ecole (Cookery School) have joined forces on a new project. Welcome aboard Ausquémé, a 12-metre, fore-and-aft-rigged wooden sailing vessel built in 1942, which was originally an oyster-dredger. After various careers and, more recently, sailing off the 7 Isles since 2004, Ausquémé has rejoined Cancale for Balades Corsaires, Balades Gourmandes and Café Gourmand sailing trips. Enjoy sunrise or sunset on board a traditional sailing vessel on the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, taste 14 dishes on a Balade Corsaire, or try the tasting menu or chef’s special menu during a Balade Gourmande.
